Welcome to DAT Logistic, a freight and logistics company registered and operating under the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website [www.datlogistic.eu] (“Website”) and any logistics, transport, or related services (“Services”) provided by us. By accessing our Website and/or engaging our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using our Website or Services.

Purchases Terms and Conditions

By placing an order and paying online on the DAT Logistic website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which form a legally binding agreement under Lithuanian Civil Code. Once payment is confirmed, we will process your transport order as described in your booking details.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about your shipment, including weight, dimensions, contents, packaging, and any special handling requirements. Goods must comply with all applicable EU and Lithuanian transport and customs laws. You must ensure that cargo is properly packaged and labeled, and that it does not contain prohibited or undeclared hazardous materials.

Prices for services are displayed on the website or communicated as part of the online order process and include VAT, where applicable, according to the EU VAT Directive. Full payment must be made online before services are provided. If your payment fails or is reversed, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel your shipment.

Our liability for any loss, damage, or delay is governed by the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR Convention) and relevant Lithuanian national transport laws. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit. Clients are advised to arrange appropriate cargo insurance for additional protection unless otherwise agreed.

Website Terms of Use

When using our website and booking transport services, you agree to comply with all applicable Lithuanian and EU laws, including the Law on Electronic Communications and the EU ePrivacy Directive. You must not misuse the website by attempting unauthorized access, uploading harmful code, or interfering with the system in any way.

We do our best to keep all information accurate and updated but do not guarantee its completeness or accuracy at all times. DAT Logistic reserves the right to make changes to its services, pricing, or website content without prior notice.

Termination

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an online order if you breach these Terms, provide misleading shipment details, attempt payment fraud, or if we believe your shipment violates applicable laws.

We also reserve the right to exercise a lien on your goods in our possession for unpaid sums, as permitted under Lithuanian Civil Code. If a payment issue remains unresolved, we may sell the goods to recover outstanding charges after giving reasonable notice.

Money-Back Guarantee

At DAT Logistic, we stand behind the quality and reliability of our transport services. If, due to our proven fault, we fail to deliver your goods within the agreed timeframe and in good condition, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund of the transport fee.

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and may apply only when:

The delay or damage is directly caused by our negligence or failure to perform as agreed.

The delay or damage is not due to force majeure events (such as severe weather, customs delays, strikes, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control).

The claim is submitted in writing to our customer service within 7 days of the delivery date.

All refund requests must include clear evidence (such as delivery notes, photos, or supporting documents). Once your claim is approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 working days.

Please note that once transport has commenced, you may not cancel the service and claim a refund simply due to a change of mind. This policy complies with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (where applicable) and Lithuanian consumer protection laws.
